Help Teachers Cope with Stress – Support a Health and Wellness Program

In order to help prepare for and respond to the next school year's onslaught of stress related issues among teachers, there are a few simple steps that every school can take to improve their preparedness for the coming year. One of these steps is to establish a separate Teachers' Health and Wellness Program to address all the issues and concerns of the teachers individually.

This program should be implemented and funded in every district at the beginning of the next fiscal year so that the changes will be uniform across the board. This will help ensure that the same level of physical, mental health and wellness is being offered to every teacher on the payroll at any time. These measures will also be in place to ensure the continuity of care that is needed for all teachers during this tumultuous period of change.
